Loving Visitors!

 Loving Visitors!

Have enjoyed the visitors today. Early this morning, Jacqui and Sterling came and took me to Pioneer for breakfast. After they left, Connie Cooke came this afternoon and stayed for a nice visit. We didn’t solve any of the world’s problems, but we both believe that the prophecies are being fulfilled that show that our land will be taken over by strangers. China has bought so much land in the U.S. that it would not surprise me to see them creating their own set of politicians. Couldn’t be any more corrupt than the ones we have in there now!!

Sent eggs home with Connie along with a couple of traps for the cats and kittens that are becoming a problem around her apartment complex. The mother cat just keeps having kittens. Some of them died in the summer and were removed by the man who kept the grounds clean. It really upset him to find those dead kittens, but one had lived. Now Connie is going to try to trap as many as possible to be neutered/spayed. Only one cat can replace all of those that are running around out there now. She feeds the mother cat and the one kitten that lived, but it won’t be long before both will be pregnant again.

We talked about the lady here in Texas who has been forced to carry a baby that is basically dying in the womb. One court said she could have it removed and another court said she has to carry it. Crazy! Anything that endangers her life should not be the deciding factor in its life or hers. Abortion has never been one of the “options” that seems reasonable to me for healthy babies and mothers, but her situation is totally different. May God bless her in whatever way is best for her.

Posted pictures earlier of the furniture that Sterling made for me. One table and one bench have now taken up positions in my living room. All the furniture he has made the past couple of years has been made from scrap lumber that the lumber yard cannot sell. They won’t let him buy anything since he is making things for the lumber yard, for the church, for the home for abandoned kids (children), and others. The ones he sells to some folks furnish money for the missions in Nicaragua. The ladies who do the mission work use Sterling’s shop space for their garage sales, too. The space is large and the church fills it up with stuff for sale, and then what does not sell it taken to a church resale shop. Sometimes there are things that absolutely no one wants and the trash men come and load it up and haul it off. Recycling at its best!

Cousin John Pollard quoted a scripture today on FB about the foreigners taking over our land. Sat and thought about it for a bit and wondered if the American Indians felt as disposed as we will be soon. Sad, just sad.

Sterling brought me some books to read. Started on one by Max Lucado called Facing Your Giants. The rest are about prophecy—Daniel and Revelation, all the Biblical doctrines, and others. Look forward to reading these. Lucado is easy to read. He writes about like a Texan talks.

It may get a bit colder tonight. But tomorrow night it will be down to 28 degrees out there—freezing up the water. Guess it is about time to stretch an electric line out to the coop to put the heated water bowl up for my hens. Really don’t like to do the line across that space, but have never paid to have Barry Thomas Ice put electricity out there. Maybe this next year that will get done.

Will suggest that we should appreciate the many blessings God has provided for us. He knows our future. We can ask His protection and that He will pursue our children to bring them to Him.

Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
