The Smurfs.

 The Smurfs.

No, the Smurfs do not live here, but Jennifer believes the blue doors to the workshop look as if they might have been here recently. She got the doors painted on the outside. May have to get busy this next week and do the inside if blue does not turn my eyes a funny color. Let’s face it; it was cheap paint because it was blue. But it should work well to protect the surface anyway.

Was so very happy to have Lance and Jennifer here overnight. They are both such sweet kids. And we got so much done—well, THEY got so much done today. The middle coop has a new roof; the truck has the fluid put in the thing for the windshield wipers and an oil change along with air filter change. Lance also repotted two trees for me. All the little things on my lists got covered, including the large AC put inside the trash bin and placed across the road. It was a thoroughly pleasant visit.

Lance has sleep issues. He wakes up too early and that is that. So, at four this morning when he got up, we both sat around making coffee and just talking. For some reason, my mind would not quit last night and simply would not let me sleep. Should have taken something but did not want to be groggy all day. Anyway, took a short nap after they left this evening. Jenn had a rib out again. Dr. Jensen put it back just that morning, but she went home, sat down, and it popped out again. Apparently, there is no way to make it stay in place. Who knew?

The dogs were so very happy to have the kids here. Sylvia simply can’t keep her feet on the floor, but she finally calmed down to just be petted. Thompson was happy also, but he is having to take canine aspirin just to keep his comealongs working.

Guess all of you have seen that Israel is actively at war again. It makes me sick to think about how many people are dying in all the stupidity floating through this world. You know that this makes Satan just grin with glee! Our prayers make a difference in lives, so let us ask God to bring His kingdom soon. Yes, we have to wait for prophecy to be fulfilled, but we can still pray for His peace now. Let us be grateful for the knowledge that it WILL be brought about in His will, in His timing.

Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
