Still Work to Do!

 Still Work to Do!

Went to Sutherlands and picked up some 2x4s and other things—including a gallon of paint on sale for half price of the sale price. Not going to gripe even though it is blue exterior paint. That will cover the doors to the workshop inside and out. But first, the front coop needs to be cleaned out. Work! It never ends!

The kids will be here this evening, so it would make sense to cook something, but who knows what they might want. Guess it can either be IHOP or Pioneer if it comes down to doing a meal. Think the old woman is too tired to think about cooking. How do things end up so piled up when work needs to be done?

Was reminded by a guy by the name of Larry that despite the fact that we are getting old, we have to appreciate it every morning that we get to wake up and start a new day. Yep, God blesses us with life and laughter. Praise God!

Might not finish anything else worthwhile this afternoon, but will pray that all of you will find joy in this day and rest in the night.

Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
