Too Hot to Care.
Have decided that old age and extreme heat don’t mix well.
Not going to do one thing that does not absolutely NEED to be done. Just
watered down the area for the chicks to have a cool place under the deck. Have
the water hose out front on “mist” and it isn’t going to be moved unless
totally necessary. The news clip on AOL asked us to not use any excess energy
(electricity) from four to eight tonight. But everything—the grid—is JUST fine.
Uh huh. All those folks offline from storms are suffering in this heat. Time
for prayers. Let us ask God to help all the critters, the folks, the ones
trying to restore power, and the first responders who have to find and help
those folks.
The old woman is sitting under AC and reading. May you all
be blessed with good health and a cool place to cuddle down.
