Non-Heart Attack.

 Non-Heart Attack.

Sterling ended up at the ER again, but this time his primary physician ordered him to go to see if he was having a heart attack. Gonna have to go up there and kick some backside if he does not hurry up and get over this stuff. The diagnosis was more of the problems associated with the freakin’ shingles. Dear Hearts, if you have not already been vaccinated for these things, go get ‘er done. Told him he has to heal up this weekend seein’ as how he has to take Jacqui in for her surgery this coming Wednesday. Truly wish the old woman were free to get up there to take care of both of them, but two dogs, 21 chickens, and one old woman is a lot to haul down the road in this weather. The trip would have to be made in the night. As it is, the young woman staying in his trailer may have to move tomorrow as the guy who wants it may bring money-in-hand to get it. They do have an extra bedroom, but their two dogs and mine might not get along. And hauling chickens TO Arkansas might get me arrested!

Took a shower earlier to try to cool down a bit. It was 105+ on top of the house and 111 degrees out front. Have not opened the kitchen door to look at the thermometer out there. Just keeping the doors closed might keep any cool air inside. Have the AC on 62 here in the living room. Bet it is at least 80 degrees sitting here at my desk! The dogs don’t want outside, for sure!

Will be taking Patty’s car to Weaver’s on Fairway to have it inspected as early as they open tomorrow. Her step-son would take it, but Patty does not think he realizes that it needs to be ASAP because it has already been put off too long—in her estimation. Understand how she feels. Mine will get inspected at the end of this month. Insurance for the truck came today, so the registration and insurance fall at the same time. Oh well.

Honestly think that the world has flipped its lid along with quite a few folks out there. Drones blowing holes in ships, drones taking out bridges, drones wiping heritage sites off the map. Maybe it is a good thing we can use drones since human beings behind the wheel of such things might be worse. This is the sort of thing that makes science fiction look too realistic. Only one being ever said, “I’ll be back” and truly meant it. May God hasten the day that Christ returns with all His angels!

Rest well, my friends. You are loved.
